DESCRIPTION:This 30-minute choreography presents the outcome of an artistic research case study investigating how Greek traditional dance can unfold in a contemporary context. Using Labanotation and embodied knowledge, traditional phrases are transformed aiming to expand the body’s repertoire while exploring the gender roles, cultural memory, and the body’s engagement with preservation and change.
