Psychology textbooks are full of examples where people seem to make obvious logical or mathematical mistakes. Studying these so-called “fallacies” helps us understand how humans make decisions and what rationality really means. In this demo, we show how scientists can make sense of these seemingly irrational choices and how they may actually arise from a rational mind.
