Our visitors can participate in a simple, playful task and see in real-time how they contribute to scientific discoveries. We would like to show them how their behavior is translated into data, how each participant’s contribution is unique, and how it paints a picture of general thinking patterns if analyzed together.

The Size-Stroop-Task

Our visitors can participate in a simple, playful task and see in real-time how they contribute to scientific discoveries. We would like to show them how their behavior is translated into data, how each participant’s contribution is unique, and how it paints a picture of general thinking patterns if analyzed together.

Visitors can also learn about data visualization – how illustrating the information we collect through the course of a study helps us answer research questions. This way visitors can experience both sides of science: being a participant contributing to data collection and seeing the data as researchers would. The study our guests can try investigates how we interpret pictures: as symbols or as the objects they depict.
